I don’t seem to have too much difficulty. I am Indian. I do have some good friends here and many others who I am not in regular touch with but who are always very friendly.
@beermeplease I remember when all the refugees from the war started coming over during the late 70's to early 80's, many of them came to the upper midwest for some reason. My older brother got twin Vietnamese girls in his 6th grade class in our first iowa school in the middle of nowhere, them and their family were among some of the nicest and most humble People we ever knew.

It's probably not just here. Statistically speaking the two genderds / nationalities that have the least chance of being in a relationship or getting married is back females and Asian males.
I'll be the one who acknowledges you are likely Asian, instead of seeing that as offensive to Asians, people here usually skim topics and discussions, how would they make friends? So it's not unique to you.
Maybe because God is smiling upon you. Making friends here is a dangerous process. There are people I like, people I get along with, people I have rapport with (as well as people I despise) but things can turn on a dime here and I'd be crushed if someone I considered a friend were to lash out at me
It's not about ethnicity. It's because humans are trash. Especially online. They do stuff online they wouldn't do irl because irl would get them killed.
