How could i benefit from switching to a 24 hour clock rather than am/pm?

You can say the time like you're in the military

To make sure you could tell if it's morning or afternoon, when you wake after a night of bar hopping.

Handy if you work shifts.
Especially during the winter.

4pm looks like 4am in the northern hemisphere anyway

There's no confusion as to what time it is!

It's good for keeping logs.

When I was in security I had to use 24 hour time, easy to adapt to, but difficult to drop after leaving the field.
