As there anyone out there who would just love to have a nice little online friendship?

Someone who just wants to talk about their day and make each other laugh. And no thinking about meeting or dating or none of the tough stuff. Just honest to goodness friends. Like pen pals used to do. Preferably female. No I don’t hate men. Just don’t have a lot of female friends in my life. Not real sure I believe in all that “girl power” crap, but I thought just having one pal online with no expectations would be a hell of a lot better than what I’ve been presented lately in my everyday life.

Pen pals are nice to have whether male or female. I understand not having a lot of female friends. I don’t have many either. I usually get along with men better maybe because I was the only female other than my mother in a family of six. There are sincere people here worth getting to know don’t let others put you off by trying to lump everyone into one category. We are all here for different reasons. Read profiles and choose who to talk to by what is or isn’t there and what they say in comments and posts. Welcome to SW and I hope your experience here is a positive one. Mine has been. I spend a good part of my time ✍️ poetry and stories and conversations with friends. You can make it whatever you want it to be.

@Luckylu thank you so much for the kind words and sound advice. I’ll definitely take it to heart and do just that. I’m sure I need to spend a bit more time on here before determining where exactly I belong.
