As there anyone out there who would just love to have a nice little online friendship?

Someone who just wants to talk about their day and make each other laugh. And no thinking about meeting or dating or none of the tough stuff. Just honest to goodness friends. Like pen pals used to do. Preferably female. No I don’t hate men. Just don’t have a lot of female friends in my life. Not real sure I believe in all that “girl power” crap, but I thought just having one pal online with no expectations would be a hell of a lot better than what I’ve been presented lately in my everyday life.

@in10RjFox I am. I just really didn’t know what I was coming into.. I know there are a lot of people up here looking for things other than friendship and that’s totally ok for them! I was just trying to call on the ones who just wanted to be a part of something strictly friendly and kind. I thought making this post would make it easier to find those people. That’s all.

@IttyOldBitty I thought so. But it does not work that way and also not easy as it seems, as many just pass by and by pass. It's best you spend some time and gauge people from their profile and how they participate in conversations and make posts. You too can post questions and see how people react. And it's best you choose the person to talk to and personally message them through their profile. Most are in long distance and just come here for online friendship and to have interesting conversations. Yes there are also those who come for some quick connection but don't last long.

But when you invite you will have your inbox flooded and only get you frustrated, keeping you away from the genuine ones.

@in10RjFox it’s always going to be hard to find the genuine ones. Heck I’m just enjoying the interaction on this queue alone. It’s got us all talking and I think that’s pretty cool despite never having one on one chats. I also think this way that maybe we really could weed out the ones who aren’t genuine. Maybe I’m just being silly. Or maybe I’m just hoping that everyone will keep talking just the way they are now. And anyone who chooses not to be a part of it can it participate and that’s ok too. But I do see exactly where you’re coming from.
