How should I help her?

I have a neighbour that am close with, we go to evening walks and spend time sometimes.

I know she has been having some issues with mother in law and sister in law she’s living with.

Lately I’ve seen her growing very thin and frail. Also during our walking she tripped and fell hurt her nose and asked me not to tell anyone in her family about it.

Not sure how I can help her

Sounds like she's being bullied - especially if her Mother AND Sister-in-Law are living at the address ...

...you may be her [b]ONLY[/b] ray of hope ... so it's your call, get Support Services involved

@BigGuy2 I’m not sure how this support services work. Yeah she has a son, husband, MIL staying. SIL often visits almost like she stays here half her life

@Genelia ... speak to the Police - informally - and state that she said: "Don't tell the family" - that may be seen as a trigger word to them as to what she's going through and they should know how to deal with it

@BigGuy2 okay but yeah i don’t wanna be a step ahead and take the load on me and she’s not physically abused. So idk if that would help

@Genelia let the Police take the load ... various types of abuse have a pattern AND make the VICTIM act in a particular way AND say particular things - {"don't tell the family}
