When my friends ask for help or advice, I put that ahead of myself.
Example one of my best and closest friends just bought his first timber property out of state and will be moving there next year with his wife. I live on and am managing my third timber farm in my lifetime and currently building my own home myself. My friend and his wife can build their own home too, but when asked to come down and look at his timber and to help him select trees to either build a timber/beam frame home like mine or a log home. I said absolutely I just have to get my dogs over to my sisters for while I was gone. I can always come back and work on mine after getting my friend set with his project at hand.
