Is It Wrong That I Didn't Go To Their Wedding?

I had a friend who was a part of the close-knit group we had in undergrad. I knew her from high school. She graduated and ghosted me for a year and a half, then suddenly messaged me pleading to come to her wedding where she'd be getting married to my jerk of a voice teacher's older son, who would make eye contact with me at the gym and look away quickly after. So I let myself be petty and I ghosted her, choosing not to attend the wedding. Now I am beginning to think that I should have gone, not because I want to maintain the "friendship" I had with them, but because it may have avoided them all continuing to ignore me.
You are not in any way obligated to attend the wedding of someone who ghosted you for a long stretch of time. I'm sure that if you had attended, once they collected your wedding gift they'd be done with you.

Dude, weddings are obnoxious and conceited, and she will be back in the market in 5 years. You haven't missed a thing.

You should have gone man. Just being a friend for her. Maybe she saw you as a way out. Just reopen the lines with her.
