It's okay to cry...

My elderly neighbor husband after 57 years of marriage passed away almost a month ago and for the most part she's been okay but she'll cry sometimes and always say I'm sorry for crying............. Why?????? I was like you just lost the love of your life why are you apologizing for crying? I don't understand that at all. I would be bawling every chance I got! They've been my neighbor for the past 14 years. They moved up from Florida because they were tired of running from hurricanes. 😂 She told me they met while she was on a family vacation after that week of vacationing she flew back to Indiana packed her bags and they were married within 2 weeks of meeting each other. She told me she knew he was the one for her. ❤️ That's why I told her she could cry all she wanted to and I'll hold her while she cries. I wrote this because she called me at 7 this morning to come get some CAN soups she had 😂 she calls me Bunny she was like Bunny come on over right now and get this soup 🥴 I threw on my robe and walked over...... *sigh* Lord bless her heart! I wanted to say can you wait until after 9:30 😂🤣😂🤣

It seems very strange to marry two weeks after meeting her new husband, she did not mourn for very long at all. I suppose at her age she was excited about the honeymoon and not much time left on this earth.

I wonder if she knew this person before and it making up this story of just meeting him, or was she afraid to die alone.

@nedkelly ohhh nooooooo. She married her husband the one that's deceased after only meeting him for 2 weeks. They were both young and very much in love.
