I said that he's my best friend and he got pissed and said he'll talk to me later? Like? We're not in a relationship, he knows that, but got mad i said i love him as my best friend? Bro.

i had a few male friends like that ,they confessed their feelings/said they wanted to date/a relationship so i ghosted. yesterday one of them called me anon and i picked up not knowing or imagining itd be one of them and he was asking why i had disappeared haha . like i owe them an explanation. i got so annoyed and creeped out. i find once you turn them down or distance yourself they become very territorial ,like an ego thing ,its not even abt u.
