Do you think generally too many people spend too much time looking at their phones, and not at each other?

A lot of them do. I see couples in diners, both staring at their phones and ignoring each other. I see kids in the park, not playing, just sitting and staring at their screens. I've seen people visiting relatives in the hospital, and spending the whole time on the phone. And on and on. It's very sad, few people communicate face to face any more.

@AbbeyRhode When it becomes that people meet up and spend more time looking at their phones than engaging with each other.. It's really unsociable . Might aswell not meet up at all...

@StormChaser800 Exactly, each one might as well be alone.

@AbbeyRhode If I met with someone and they spent the whole or most of their time looking at their phone, checking socialmedia etc. I'd soon leave

@StormChaser800 Same here, if I'm with someone, they have my attention.

@AbbeyRhode Which is the way it should be. If you meet someone and both of you have arranged to meet up, the main focus of attention should be on each other. When someone starts looking at their phone more, it can come across as even if not intended, as being rude.

@AbbeyRhode I am 63,love good hearted people, and am terrified at the difference between walking down the high street now,and what once was.
