My story...
My father got in 50-50 partnership in 1990 with my Uncle (his cousin sister's husband). Now, Uncle's father in law went against him and my father for it; hurling abuse, threats and disowning uncle and dad. This also affected relationship between uncle and aunt but they patched up n still together today. Imagine going through family problems whilst u just opened yer own Business??? My uncle himself is hard headed n strong willed. In the same difficulty he even got his daughter married!! Eventually aumt and her dad came around to an acceptance n patched up.
Another story of my own. We're rich family thanks to the 50-50 partnership. But my dad never really asked for his rights. He prefers to take only how much Uncle pays him which is decent, but then Uncle and his Son make all the decisions where to put in money for Business. My mother ALWAYS told us we're poor, took no advantage of husband has an own sorta Business. My sister turned out to be a big time miser since birth. All this affected how we were brought up (on top Mum / children TOXIC relationship)!!! Since childhood and ongoing.
My loving side kicked in thanks to my wife. Today am romantic, not worrying about spending thanks to my wife. She's made me into a decent human being and not just a crazy machine worried about money money money, saving saving saving like my Ma and Sis do EVERY given opportunity.
