anyone else have that annoying friend who won't butt out of your relationship?

friend - you know he's talking to other girls online right?
Me - it's Discord, and it's the group from that mmo he plays
Friend - still he seems awfully chummy with them
Me - of course. that's how you treat friends
Friend - ever wonder if he's cheating?
Me - most of them are half way across the continent so i doubt it

i think i'm gonna start skipping hang outs until she cools off a bit. were fine, he's not cheating. talk about something else dammit. >:(

Might be good to communicate that you find their opinion dumping to be a downer and not helpful , so you would appreciate it if they’d keep their opinions about things to themselves. At least after you’ve communicated the boundary they have an opportunity to correct their own behavior and respect the boundary rather than you distancing yourself without an explanation

@WhateverWorks yeah you're right. i have mentioned it a few times and it dies down for a lil bit. i know her ex cheated and it started with social media messages so i think it's just paranoia and her worries come from a place of caring but it's getting taxing.
