why? ive gotten several follows from people that have never engaged with me in any way. i dont get it ._.

I wonder if it does stuff to the reputation algorithm thats now in play. before it made it easier to keep track of/notice someone's post, but thats a nonstarter, now. perhaps they are inviting you to come dig around in their profile for the things they only share to certain people, sine thats now an option.
