@SkyeJade The core of Christianity is all about rejecting the physical world — the life we have — in favor of the promise of an eternal afterlife. For Christians, life doesn't really begin until we shuffle off this mortal coil.

Mind you, no one has ever been able to provide even one iota of verifiable proof that this "eternal afterlife" actually exists, yet Christians demand that people give up the opportunity to make the most of the time we have here in the world in exchange for this afterlife they can't prove exists.
