@YoMomma If one is results-oriented, one does what one must. Carrots were the path of least resistance. MUCH quicker than the long, drawn-out getting to know & trust each other...

Though, if you think about it, she told me what she liked, and I listened, took her stated desire to heart, and tried to fulfill her desire. It isn't the simplicity, but caring enough to listen, hear, remember, act...

So I guess this "bribery", in this case, IS an act of friendship, bc it shows respect and caring and trying to help another in her stated desire.
