I was 3 months old we met at doctors getting weighed was friends 17 years then we broke up friends for something silly.had other best friends also through school.i met someone through school at 13 still friends now i am 33 .

Not me I was 11 when we met. In our twenties when my friend became a drug addict and lost custody of all four of her children, I had to step away.

When I met my very best friend named Mason we were in kindergarten (or possibly preschool, as he told me). He moved away when I was 15 and we were in 8th grade. He will always be my vbff and my only vbff. Cause no one can replace a friend like him. I sometimes see Mason in my dreams, we're always somewhere having fun. I always wonder if he's dreaming the same thing as I am.

I had one I met at 14. When I was 19 life took over and we went separate ways. After life had settled down again at 30, I found her and we tried resuming the friendship. I saw no reason why it couldn't work - we seemed to work the same on that front. But she was having insecurities and projecting those on things I said and did and finally decided she just couldn't be comfortable with me anymore. After a while contact was resumed on facebook and we would now be classified as acquaintances.

I was 35. Met her in HK. Still great friends now, although we don't meet so frequently. Friendships are strange. You can know someone for a long time since college and you think you were great friends but that friendship doesn't quite last when your paths diverge. But you can also have friends late in life but who really know you and do not judge you when things get rough and these friendships stay with us a long time.

6 from early 20s, all classmates n a frd of a classmate. 4 from my current band of almost 10 ppl since i was 28. all keep in touch now though 2 are living overseas. 🙂

Offline, it was when i turned 16, the legal smoking age over here, for about 7 years:) Ahhh cigarettes, not everything about them is bad :D

One friend I met when I was just 11 years of age and another when I was in my 30's and am still good friends with them to this day.

I don't believe I really have a best friend, I do have close friends though
