Do advertisements persuade you into buying things?
To me they're hellaciously annoying and infiltrating every crevice of my brain. Everywhere I look they're flashing in my face, insultingly, insinuatingly targeted at my demographic.

No. If I wish to buy something I will use the advertisements or catalogues to help me as necessary; but advertisements do not otherwise influence me.
