does anyone else despise all the ads now

whether it be all the ads on the tv or the ads on the internet, on youtube now, i despise the ads fullstop, they're not fun or entertaining anymore like they were in the 1980s, they're all ''woke'' and annoying.

Totally agree. The proliferation of ads is out of control.
Imagine how much money is being made by 1) the companies the ads are depicting, 2) the businesses displaying those ads.
I think free to air tv is the worse with ads.
One particular US news program goes to an advertisement, comes back, reads a 30 second news story then goes to more ads.
I wrote to the television station showing this program here in Australia and said, "Why are you showing this rubbish"?
