I Hate Advertisements

I would say that I hate advertisements, but I don't even think that truly scratches the surface of how deep my unrelenting fury delves for these abominations. I've had a song stuck in my head, so I decided to go to YouTube to play a video on my phone and listen to it while I work, and yes, I'm aware that was my first mistake. I select the first video in my search results list and I'm presented with a 30 second ad that I cannot skip. Okay, swipe and close, back to the list. I'm presented again with ANOTHER ad that I cannot skip from my second choice. Hmmm, not watching that either, on to the next in line. I've now cycled through around six or seven posts that all have had ads of at least 30 seconds that I cannot skip. I understand that the service is "free" because it's ad-supported, but I don't have any desire to purchase what they're attempting to sell me and the fact that I have to sit through this drivel only infuriates me more. Advertising has an adverse effect on me, rather than bait me into buying whatever garbage they want to sell; it makes me hate the company for making me have to sit through their marketing spiel. I have certain methods on my computer at home to circumvent unwanted advertising, but I don't have that luxury on my mobile device.
