Drinkin' tonight 'cause fuck it.

Chronic pain has been way worse than usual lately and I'm just sad. Been reading a book I know my mom would have loved and I keep wanting to recommend it to her and then remember I can't.

Sorry about your mum. Maybe ask your doctor about pain management or consider some natural health options. I'm an aromatherapist, I have clients that come specifically for pain management who tell me it really helps. Alcohol isn't the best answer but you probably know that already xx 😊

@PatientlyWaiting25 I usually stick to cannabis but sometimes even that doesn't touch it. :) The area around my spinal cord was damaged in 2010 and my lower half has been toning itself ever since. Constant cramps from my hips to my toes. Unfortunately, there's nothing they can do to fix it. 😕

I'm going to cut back drinking to once a week or maybe even once a month I think. :3 It's fun but I know it's no good for me haha.

@thepeculiarpanda I'm so sorry! It must be so difficult. You could try some aromatherapy massages or reflexology if your doctor agrees. Help relaxing lowers your cortisol levels which in turn helps with pain and there are many essential oils that work with your body to block pain signals. Sometimes it's worth thinking outside the box if nothing else is working xx

@PatientlyWaiting25 It's definitely not my favorite but I've come a long way from where I was! :3 I wish I had taken it more seriously when I first got sick because I think I'd be in much better shape at this point but there's no point in worrying about the past I guess. :)

I definitely wish I could afford massages more often! My lower back and legs appreciate them very much haha. I've also been doing a lot more yoga and stretching in addition to usual exercising. :3
