sangiovese, aglianico, sagrantino, marzemino, teroldego, refosco, troia, negroamaro, primitivo, nero d'avola, nerello mascalese, lagrein, trollinger (schiava), schioppettino, gaglioppo, piedirosso, casavechia, pallagrello nero, ruché, docletto, freisa, barbera, nebbiolo, bonarda Piemontese, grignolino, corvina, raboso, montepulciano ...
(and these are just the Italian favorites, and just the red ones of those ...)
