Europeans who know about biology/wine, why does the corking effect happen to wine and not other alcohol drinks?

Maybe something to do with the fact that they dont bottle and cork gin, vodka, whiskey, beers etc🤔😅

2 reasons
1st If the wine is stored incorrectly and mold will appear in the cork area.
2nd It occurs when even small amounts of chlorine-containing substances (such as cleaning agents or bleach) react with the phenol in natural cork. In both cases TCA (2,4,6-Trichloroanisole) emerges.

Greetings from Germany
because is has a cork maybe
probably a bacteria in the cork
