Whisky drinkers of SW

I want to get my brother a really good whisky, price around £70 but I don't drink so I have no idea what to get. Does anyone have any recommendations?

My recommendation would be Ardmore for it's one good single malt I tasted recently. But my all time & anytime favourite would be Famous Grouse
