Whisky drinkers of SW

I want to get my brother a really good whisky, price around £70 but I don't drink so I have no idea what to get. Does anyone have any recommendations?

@Beautifullyderanged My grandfathers received scotch for birthdays and Christmasses. Now that I am a grandfather myself, I told my daughter that I would like to continue that family tradition. (I am happy with a wide variety of whiskies, not just Scotch.) And so, I keep getting different bottles every Christmas. I am sure your brother will appreciate that too!
