I Am a Vegetarian

To everyone who says we're not supposed to eat meat - oh come off it. We evolved to eat meat. But I can't as I'm allergic to pork and beef, and I'm not a fan of chicken. I would eat meat but I'm either allergic to it or I don't like the taste. Nothing about "saving the planet" here because no matter what the same amount of living things die either way.

@That GirlSara: You don't know if you're allergic or you don't like the taste?

Let's not dismiss the save the planet thing, out of hand. As it turns out, you cannot play a zero sum game in this particular case, and if you change the scenario, you will get a difference outcome.

Scenario 1: raise enough cattle/swine to feed the planet's population. Results: deforestation, and massive production of methane gas, with a massive contribution to global warming.

Scenario 2: reduce cattle/swine consumption: instead of deforestation, we will plant more trees/vegetation, to meet food demand, methane production is minimal, there is minimal contribution to global warming.
