@JBird Carbs are important for your brain functionality and energy levels. The idea that sugars are flatly bad for you is a giant media myth. Added sugars are a problem because they just spike your blood sugar and fuck your metabolism, but regular old sugars in fruits and vegetables are gucci.

@JBird Anything's bad when "consumed unlimited." In fact, gluttonous consumption of meat and dairy is largely responsible for the epidemic of heart disease in North America. The key with carbs is balance and moderation. The fact is, complex sugars are very healthy when consumed in reasonable amounts.
