No. When I was cooking for a living I used to enjoy devising vegan recipes - all natural ingredients, no synthetic meats etc - but all my experience says that a totally vegan diet isn't actually that healthy.

@ArtieKat All diets can be harmful or benefitial. You just need to know how to combine your food and be aware what you're eating. It's a lot of work, and at some places can be expensive or you'd need to spend a lot of time cooking. That's the reason I'm not one just yet. Plus some environmental issues. And ofc, if you have health issues, probably should stick to a diet that's good for you. But vegan diets, just like vegetarian and omnivore diets can be healthy if balanced well.

That's the crux. The human body wasn't designed to have to add supplements of any kind to ensure we get the nutrients needed.

@ArtieKat walnuts, nuts, flaxseed, and other sources. I also keep track of my protein and get more than I sued to when I ate meat. You need to study it--or ask someone who has been vegan a long time. I would be glad to help!! I love it and am very healthy. No clogged arteries like meat eaters.

@ArtieKat it's not via supplements. You can get everything omnivore diet gives you via vegan produce.

@greensnacks OK. But many people do take supplements nevertheless, and do eat highly processed factory foods.
