McDonald's is a purely greed-based corporation. They don't care about anything except profits. It's the American Way!

Of course, the alternative to profits is losses, and eventual failure.
In most cases, companies produce profit by giving people what they want.
In the case of McDonald's, that's inexpensive food that is consistently mediocre.
I care about what I put in my body, so I don't eat at McDonald's.
But I don't think what they are doing is wrong.
I simply believe the people who go there don't prioritize their health highly enough.
