Why are people so rude to vegans ?

I guess people fear what they don't understand. I think it ridiculous let people decide for themselves what is right for them physically or morally if that's their reason.

I don’t care what other people eat or don’t eat. But to even hint that everyone needs to stop consuming animal products encroaches on our freedom to choose. I can’t eat foods with gluten in them but I don’t go around telling everyone else even people I am close to that they shouldn’t eat it.
