Why are people so rude to vegans ?

They should either refuse the invitation, or bring their own food. I bring my own food to pot lucks now (not that I’ve been to one in the last 2.5-years), but as I watch my sodium and cholesterol intake, I need to do this. @cherokeepatti

@Carissimi I wouldn’t even go to a potluck now. I have gluten problems and you never know what’s in it. But a barbecue I could go for with it being mostly meat and maybe some veggies on the grill.

@cherokeepatti I actually like barbecued vegetables. Not on their own, naturally.

I don’t eat any meat but chicken and fish, and I hate that I eat them, but my body feels terrible if I don’t have at least a little animal protein, especially as I lift weights. I hate that we have to eat other creatures, but I didn’t create this design, so I’m stuck with it. 🤷‍♀️ @cherokeepatti

@MartinII eggplant, Portabello mushrooms, sweet potatoes, corn on the cob, and zucchini with onions and butter packets are favorites of mine.

@cherokeepatti Yes, I like to barbecue or grill zuccini and eggplant. Also red peppers.
