I Am a Vegan

Just had to leave a cafe just now. The table next to me had four people all ordering Cumberland sausages in plain muffins. The smell of the sausages made me feel ill. It reminded me of the times my Gran used to boil bones for the dogs. Disgusting!

Well, it's the real world, and you have to smell it and share it with meat eaters to be in it. That being said, I am beginning to discover that there are many healthy Vegan foods that meat eaters can use to "mediate" the meat levels in their diets.

My doctor mentioned that he would like me to go on the Mediterranean diet to control things like meat amounts, carbs, salt levels, etc., etc., to improve my health.

And because I am still waiting for my new cookbooks to arrive, I am exploring ready-made Vegan foods, which can be plugged in to a meat eater's diet to reduce the amount of meat you eat! I have some impossible burgers on order, and yesterday I had White Castle veggie sliders for lunch! Those were delicious!

So...take hope from that. I think more and more people will begin to change their diets.
