Tea for me

Every day I harvest my Chamomile blooms for my tea. Little by little, I dry them and put them in a mason jar. From growing Chamomile from seed to relaxing with a great cup of tea from them is awesomeness!

Aww...this brings memories of when I was little and used to visit and spend time with my grandma🥺

@SW-User giggling... well..go figure..I am a grandma, old school gal here. 😎

@ShadowWorker Well, you're too young to be my grandma! And I'm genuinely jealous, I can't wait till I have enough space to grow my own herbs and vegetables

That must be the best cup of tea ever!! Everything tastes so much better when you do the work

@Russ999 yes indeed. I bought some local honey... the two together is...awwww!
Yes again, I love being a gardener, producing my own likes and needs. 😁

@ShadowWorker yummmm now I want to taste :)

Me too!! Even with my modest garden it’s so rewarding eating some zoodles with basil and tomatoes all from my tiny portch

@Mooed78 I enjoy them. Chamomile has ferny leaves, blooms easily. I have them in the ground and in pots. Oh.. and I use them fresh too. 😊

I love chamomile tea! I buy teabags with honey and vanilla flavors, but it must be wonderful to have your own chamomile flowers to steep!
ShadowWorker · 61-69, F
@4meAndyou yes it is! Pure blessing! And a dash of being proud! Easy pleasy .. cut blooms at the right time, dry on a screen and store in a jar. ✌💖 to you!

How long does it take to dry them out?
ShadowWorker · 61-69, F
@Lostpoet in a few days they are a little ball...in about a week at tops..I throw them into a jar. 😊
Lilnonames · F
Never had anything like that😊
ShadowWorker · 61-69, F
@Lilnonames the stores sell it in tea form but nothing compares to fresh. Quite easy to grow, seeds are on the market too. Chamomile is excellent for relaxation!! Calms the spirit 😊
Lilnonames · F

ShadowWorker · 61-69, F
