Ice Tea - how do you make it?

I'm trying to make epic ice tea at home, make it by the gallon. So far I've gotten to the "it's okay" stage, but not the epic stage.

Any secrets you are willing to share?

BTW, I'm using the cold brew method.

I use Lipton's tea. Watch how long you steep it or it gets bitter. I think real lemon juice is better than the stuff in the bottle. Sugar syrup on the side that you add to taste seems to be a good way to serve it.
