I didn’t like sweet tea until I got pregnant. I always got it unsweetened or added whatever fruit syrups to it I had leftover

Yes, they did and likely do. Sun tea hit with a big splash. Then the drink companies started horsing around with fruit flavors added. In my book, peach tea is not tea. Tea is tea. I personally do not think lemon belongs in tea.
