How long has all chocolate been poor quality?

@Sazzio okay I suppose that when a whole lot of known brands come out kinda low in quality, nobody can possibly know. It would require super human powers of memory and the ability to contextualize. I'm the last person who has clues.

@Roundandroundwego Only thing I can think of, less man made and more machine made. On top I can inagine the rush to quickly get choccies produced... Not by the mc but the human 🤦‍♂employers want human to be faster than an mc, which is toxic.

On top preseratives to keep the choccies "Better" and last longer. Happens with fruits but market tastes organic n doesn't last long compared to supermarkets.
