Why do people not know how to order a Subway sandwich? That’s why they came with the new menu. Yet, people still struggle in the line!

Subway is poorly thought out. People are expected to order and pay before being able to properly read the menu.

@MissPerfect Fast food places of all kinds surely make most of their profit from regular customers. There isn't much profit to be gained by making it easier for people who rarely go there especially if this means adding more menu posters which have to be kept up to date.

McDonald's (in Europe, I don't know about other places) does it right by having big touch screens in multiple languages near the entrance. But that must also be quite an expense and probably wouldn't work for Subway which is usually just a shop not a restaurant and so has much less space than many McDonald's'.
