The local store had fresh sweet corn for 25 cents a ear :)

So im going to make corn chowder for the first time,i just have to find the right recipe. :)

I bought some back in July for that price and cut the corn off the cob, blanched and froze it in quart bags. Better than any processed corn I can buy in stores. I want to buy more if they put it on sale.

The best Egg Drop Soup I’ve ever had included fresh-cut sweet corn in it. Added some chewy sweetness to the soup.

@cherokeepatti I actually froze some too,shit i remember when i was young stores would have it for 15 ears for one or two dollars. lol

@Ramrod Hadn’t been that long since I found it for 6 ears for a dollar. Anyway it’s a better price than buying canned corn. Just a little bit of work to get it processed and frozen.
