How to make tibetan butter tea

Really good, you can also use regular black tea. I wanted to save two recipes as I might try both but I liked the first one where they did their own black tea concentrate

I've often wondered about this-thank you!
I thought you needed yak butter and maybe a goatskin bladder to brew it up in,but naturally enough I've been over-romanticizing this ancient elixir. I'm a fan of tea and butter and so I'm going for this.
My friends were frequent visitors to Tibet and so maybe next time they come over for dinner I'll just casually offer my take on this...that ought to prime the convo.

While we are virtually traveling, here's some odd fusion stuff Martin Atkins recorded during his Asian tour:

(apparently the Tibetan rapping is over-the-top nasty, which I find notable.)

@dubkebab You can go for butter tea and also butter coffee too. I just do coffee and a tablespoon of ghee in a blender. Also known as bulletproof coffee, Dave Asprey stole it from the Tibetans lol. It's still okay though, ghee has a good flavor.
