If you were homeless, what would be your "go to" meal?

Nothing, because if I was approaching homelessness, I'd stop eating. I lose my appetite easily when under stress.

@SW-User You are sane. I always believed that homelessness is worse that getting shot in the belly. And yet, three guys on the internet told me that homelessness made them better men.

@sree251 I've heard of teenagers surviving it and going on to be successful. With all my health problems, I'm too old for that sort of life. I doubt I'd live thru the stress of losing my home.

@SW-User Any chance of losing your home now?

@sree251 Not at present, but in the near future, I don't know. I met a realtor once who told me a story about a double income family that ended up on the street, and she concluded by saying "It doesn't take much to put a middle class family on the street these days." And that was 30 years ago...

@SW-User You're damn right about that. We live in a dangerous world; especially, here in the USA where everybody struts their stuff financed by debt. A billionaire is likely to be over leveraged and living hand to mouth.

@sree251 Sad but true. I think the family in the story had a high mortgage, despite the 2 incomes.

@SW-User Back in the 2008 financial crash, there was this high flying businessman with his mansion and fancy cars. He killed his wife and children and hung himself. Apparently, he lost everything in that crash and was buried in debt he could never repay. Come to think of it, I have always admired the wolf of Wall Street, Jordan Belfort and still do. He has to repay debt to the tune of $100 million or so.

@sree251 I've lived long enough to remember several stock market crashes. In one, some of the people we knew lost all of their retirement, due to risky investments. Scary.

@SW-User Yes, very scary. This is why I stay away from the stock market.
