I made curried lentil soup yesterday 😊

It might be 40°C but I still eat lentil soup hahah I love it and don't know why so many people hate it

@HannibalAteMeOut How do you make your lentil soup?

@TheDeathOfOzymandiaz first I boil them a bit on their own (depends on what lentils you use but I use brown ones). I sauté some onion and carrot in olive oil, put the lentils in, put some tomato juice or crushed tomatoes and some water (I don't want them too watery so it depends on what you like). Then let them simmer on low heat and put salt, pepper, turmeric, parsley, a laurel leaf, oregano and a bit of cumin. You should also put garlic if you like it, I usually don't, but that's the normal way 😅 it takes around 40 minutes after that and they're ready. And before you eat them I suggest you put some red wine vinegar too 😌
