February Cookie Recipe
OATMEAL COOKIES
pre-heat at 375 degrees
1 & 1/2 cup of all purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 cup of softened butter
1/2 cup of sugar
1/2 cup of brown sugar
1 egg
MIX ABOVE INGREDIENTS UNTIL JUST COMBINED
fold in:
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 & 1/2 cup of old fashioned or instant oats (it will make a slightly different cookie)
1 cup of raisins or chocolate chips or nuts or a combo of each equaling 1 cup
scoop your selected size of cookie onto a parchment lined cookie sheet
smash them gently with flipper to 1/2 to 3/4 inch cookies.
bake 10 to 13 minutes until they are golden brown.
let them sit for 5 minutes then eat them. oatmeal is kinda dangerous when too hot
