Apple Dumplings made with Pillsbury Crescent rolls.

2 Granny Smith apple
2 cans of Pillsbury refrigerated crescent rolls
3/4 cups of butter, melted
1 cup of brown sugar
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon of Nutmeg
2/3 cup of Sprite

Heat oven to 350.. spray 13 by 9 pan
Peel and core apples into 16 wedges/slice
Unroll dough, separate, put the wedge of apple on the widest part of triangle and roll to the opposite end, arrange in pan.

Medium bowl, stir together melted butter, brown sugar and cinnamon and nutmeg.
Pour mixture Over dumplings.
Pour Sprite in center and along edges.. not over dumplings.

Bake 33 to 36 minutes.. let stand for 15
I loved it with ice cream and next time I am going to try caramel sauce poured over my dumpling.. omg!
