My new kitty 😺 morning routine

I love how kitties get those bursts of energy during their peek hours.. Run like crazy as if they are possessed lol, play and tease each other, and then all of a sudden get sleepy and lazy again! So cute when they are playing, when they are sleeping and when they are grooming themselves after they ate... so unfair how cats are cute in all states without even trying lol

As someone who likes their routine, one of my biggest concerns about getting kitties was how much they will disturb and change my routine.. especially those peaceful alone moments I enjoy..

For a while now, been waking up at 5 am, sipping coffee, having breakfast ans enjoying the morning before my workday starts! This has been so therapeutic to me! I was concerned before getting kitties that they would interrupt this peaceful time in the morning and that routine I created for myself ..

But now I have an addition! Instead of just watching TV I get to watch kitties run and play as this early morning time just aligns with their active cycle.. and then they get quiet and sleep beside me... One kitty comes and sits on my lap when he wants to sleep and the other sits closely beside me..

Now this is a great addition to my morning routine!

Of course aside from the continuous NO NO NO as they try to get on the coffee table where my coffee and breakfast are.. and then I pick them up to put them away, to put my feet down and show them that a no means no! But I get overwhelmed by their cuteness so I start kissing them while saying no in a playful voice, and Kittiee give me the 'are you stupid' look because they understand now the meaning of the word no, but my actions and tone don't match the word lol I feel they are wondering, so is this table off limits now or not.. I don't understand 🐱🤷🏽‍♀
