Did they not recognize me with the hat? 🥔🤔

So I wanted to get kitties in the carrier as i wanted to pick up something and I still don’t trust to leave them alone. House proofing still not done completely. So I wore a hat and a jacket, then kitties were getting away from me suspiciously, not as strong as when they first met me but still getting away which is very weird because they just love to be picked up! Then I picked one and he literally scratched me. Then I took off my hat and jacket, and I could pick them up again! Lol

This so so weird! I thought they recognize human scent.. now true that I had just showered after I have been filthy lol but would the shower remove my scent entirely lol
