More kitty stories I guess 🥔🥴
You are gonna get sick of stories about my little sweet kitties but I am just really amazed and so pleased with how quickly they got used to me, to the house and how smart and well trained they are! I think the previous owner trained them very well as I believe she does this for a living..
Last night when i let them out into the house, they were definitely so cautious of everything and of me. Even though I had opened some boxes to get some stuff out for them until I have more power to build stuff next day, they ignored the tunnels and toys and stayed in the nook for long because it is small and they can hide there.. I let them be especially that they would just hide from me when I approached the nook. The only time they didn’t hide from me yesterday and approached me is when I held a treat in my hand lol 🥔😂
Until I wanted to go to bed and I guessed they did too as their owner mentioned they have their routine figured out and they sleep through the night which they did last night .. I had to get them into the carrier to get them to the bedroom, wasn’t much of a hassle and they got in their easily but they definitely wouldn’t follow me..
Yet once in the bedroom they turned someone else and cuddled near me on bed all night and that was enough to feel they fully trust me today and don’t avoid or hide from me, and they followed me easily to the living room once I woke up..
Now I love that they are no longer hiding in the nook and they are playing with the few toys I have out, but will get the rest out soon and build their trees once I have more coffee!
Idk what it is, maybe I was expecting worse given how much I heard about cats causing trouble or maybe these are just extra well behaved lol but they really aren’t causing any trouble so far.. the worst thing they did was trying to scratch the couch inside the nook, and they would stop when I go and tell them.. I even don’t have to go now, I just hear it and I say no kitty, and the sound stops lol and now kitties are out of the nook, but when they are heading there with the intention to scratch, they look at me while heading, as in, checking, because they know it lol so adorable and smart!
I think once I get their cat trees and scratching post out, they will probably get used to scratching on there.
But potato needs another cup of Turkish coffee first! 🥔🥴
