So someone today showed up on Teams with a smudge on his face and then he mumbled something about ashes and said he was catholic. What is that?
I was curious but did not want to ask further.

@BittersweetPotato not exactly,one fasts only on Ash Wednesday and Good Friday and no meat during fridays

@bookerdana I think I am more familiar with copitc orthodox. They follow stricter lent rules. They strictly go vegan the entire 40 days!
