I feel disheartened when I ask chat gpt a question and it doesn’t compliment my question before it answers 🥔🥴🥺 Why has it changed?

Lol, I actually ended up changing the voice of my chatgpt because a few months ago it was super friendly and helpful, then they added in "humanlike" affections like "ummmm" and pauses and it felt like my buddy was giving me the cold shoulder

I gave mine very detailed and specific instructions to prevent it from trying to flatter me 😂

Probably the same reason they told people to stop thanking it themselves. It apparently wastes to much time coding that reply because it doesn’t know why you’re thanking it.

I got into a fight with Grok the other day. We are not on speaking terms right now.

They're trying to tune it to be slightly less obviously obsequious, because it destroys too much of its own credibility that way
