If someone says eh in a youtube vidoe, should I instantly assume that they are Canadian, or are there Americans who also say eh? Serious question.

I can't believe I just gave Americans a chance to make fun of Canadians on this post.

@BittersweetPotato There's no needing a chance

I would say that if they say "aboat" then they're Canadian :)

It's probably about 50% Canadians and 50% Americans imitating Canadians...😅

@NerdyPotato Even more likely it is the latter 🥔🤣

Ive never heard Americans do that. But both Aussies and Kiwis do, although the Kiwi one always has a terminal rise as if its a question , like "eh?" even when it isnt

Ewww I've never met an American that says "ehhh"
BittersweetPotato · 31-35, F
@SkeetSkeet Stop lying. You guys say eh behind the world's back.

Safe to assume they are Canadian.

Butttt.....

There's small pockets and belts of the Northern US it's just as prevelant. Especially around the Great Lakes region.
