Nice Survey and everything, very good questions looking to collect spot on information about the major aspects and challenges around moving to Canada..
Only i reach this question and I am like, WTF does this have to do with my move 🥔😅 I feel weird putting I don’t trust at all LOL

it's about integration and community building. the question you posted is for the surveyor to confirm what level of trust you have in your own social circles. 5 means you've got a strong support system and 1 means you could struggle overcoming issues related to settling in your new home in a new country. does this make sense?
I already understand that, still family seemed odd because being an immigrant Canada doesn’t contribute to how my relationship with my family is. It is not like Canada gave immigrants new families with their move. Other questions about people here and employer etc made sense instantly because they are new people in my life as a result of the move snd they come from Canada @tenente
@BittersweetPotato here's a ridiculous example: 80% of respondents don't trust their family. YIKES! based on this data point, as a government employee, I will tell our members of Congress and State Legislators there's data that suggests: 1) new settlers have a weak social circle to rely on for help and 2) new settlers will need additional government support like councilors and aid workers to help over come obstilces and challenges to settling in their new home and new country. to compensate for lack of a strong social network.
that is a wild crazy example, but i'm trying to use an example to illustrate. they use these survey responses to establish situational awareness and trend as a means of telling them what to forecast and budget for social services now and in the future.
@tenente i still don’t see the connection much. Since Canadians Born and raised in Canada could very well have the same problem. I don’t see it as something immigrants are more likely to have as a problem. Whereas for example social circles made IN CANADA is something related more to immigrant because they are social circles that include different people and different environment. Whereas family is the same anywhere for everyone not just immigrants
