Wary of vending machines lately..

@SW-User a lot of things that we could live without are overpriced. If they didn’t put “flavor enhancers” on so much of this stuff it wouldn’t sell near as much.

@SW-User I’d rather have fresh made popcorn than chips anyway. I just substitute other things I like for those overpriced items.

Patti I remember buying four big bags of groceries for about $20 when I was a kid. Those days are long gone.

@PatKirby When my daughter was young I could buy a lot for $20-$25. There were times I spent about $15 and got my grocery shopping done. Would buy generic brands, basic foods, cook from scratch & not buy junk food. And didn’t complain about the prices like now.

Yep, like the price of eggs recently is way over the top.

For sure. I've eat one instead of two in the morning now. Wonder if they'll ever go back down after the avian flu dies down, which has hit the industry hard.
